iPhone 5 tech specs

We all know that the iPhone 5 will probably be announced on the September 12 by Tim Cook or Phill Shiller. But what will it feature? According to a lot of rumors :

– 4-inch Display
– Less than 8 mm thin
– 9-pin mag-safe connector dock
– 4G LTE Networking
– Maybe a 10 MP camera
– Better front facing camera
– Dual-core A5X chip
– New design
– iOS 6
– Nano sim card

Here is a picture showing how it might look like

In my opinion it will certainly be called the “New iPhone”.

iPhone 5, iPad mini for september 12

According to a lot of rumors, the iPhone 5 (or the New iPhone) and the iPad mini would be unveiled on september 12, less than in one month! And on this date, Apple may also present a 13 inch Macbook Pro with a retina display and the new iPod lineup.

The iPhone 5

We don’t know his name but in my opinion it will be called the New iPhone, just like the new iPad released in last march. And I don’t think it would be called the iPhone 5 because it would be the 6th generation. But It is not the most important. We want to know the features! So it would feature a 4-inch display (iPhone 4S is 3,5″) allowing 5 rows of icons on the homescreen, a brand new design, two better cameras, the 4G LTE networking, the dual-core processor A5X with quad-core graphics, a better battery, a better Siri and of course iOS 6.

The iPad mini

Even if Steve Jobs didn’t like the idea of the 7-inch tablet, maybe we’ll see a 7-inch iPad on september 12! This would be a great way to compete against the Nexus 7 and the Kindle fire, very popular tablets. It would be called the iPad mini and priced around 250$ or 300$. It will probably have the same specs as the iPad 2 but in a smaller size.

iPod

We will probably see a new iPod nano with touch controls but on a bigger screen and i am not sure if the iPod touch will be updated…

To conclude, all of this are rumors but it makes much sense. We will see the truth in less than one month, the september 12th.

iOS 6 beta 4 without Youtube

After I had installed the 4th beta of iOS 6, the first thing i have noticed is the Youtube app that wasn’t here. It is certainly due to the war between Apple and Google.

The Verge reports that Apple has issued a statement acknowledging the removal.

“Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store.”

Another new feature is the addition of a tab named “Bluetooth sharing” in the privacy tab (in settings app). Maybe the next iPhone will be able to share files with bluetooth 4.0 with other devices? We’ll know that the September 12!
